M.FEST is a four day multidisciplinary arts festival that seeks to challenge the taboo around menstruation and promote menstrual health. We seek to present provocative, educational and playful work created by Galway-based artists and promote conversations around women´s health.

We aim to curate an accessible and innovative festival, utilizing the educational potential of arts-practice to: break taboos around menstruation, promote menstrual health, improve menstrual experience, emphasize conscious menstruation and generate conversations around menstrual health and creates a supportive community.
Celebrating its inaugural year, M.FEST will take place across Galway City from 2nd-5th March 2023. M.FEST is a new platform for both emerging & established artists based in Ireland to create and showcase work exploring themes of women´s health. For audiences and participants M.FEST is about exploration. Our programme seeks to generate conversation and create memorable experiences that are of both a high artistic and educational quality.

Our workshops cover a variety of topics related to women's menstrual health & experiences, from period tracking to reproductive health to menopause. Come learn from experts in the field and meet other women who share your interests!
